My Vacuum Really Sucks...In A Good Way

We finally did it. After talking about it for years, we finally bought a new vacuum cleaner. We've been using one that belonged to Hubby before we met, so it's been around a while. I didn't realize quite how bad it was until I brought out the new one.

Just last week, I vacuumed, so it's not like I waited for months on end. When I used our new vacuum, I was astonished at how much stuff it pulled up out of the carpet. I vacuumed the carpet in the master bedroom - twice. I filled up the bin the first time, so I went back and went over it again. Wow. The carpet in there almost looks new - I'm amazed - and grossed out at the same time. I mean, how gross is it that I can pull all of that gunk out of a carpet that was "clean" a week ago. Eeeeuuww.
