WFMW - Juniper Trees

It's Works-For-Me Wednesday at Rocks In My Dryer , hosted by Shannon. There are amazing ideas and solutions for almost any problem you can think of - check it out!

This week, Shannon is hosting a themed week. This week's theme is "What Doesn't Work For Me." I'm not sure what slant she's going for if it's something that you need help with, or if it's something you see that you think does not work. So, here's my take on something that doesn't, well, didn't work for me.

Before and After

The juniper trees growing by the front door. They were not cared for properly the before we bought our house, so they were over grown. They really couldn't be pruned without looking severely deformed. And after discussing it, hemming, and hawing, Hubby pulled out the chain saw and...voila - no more juniper trees! They didn't work for me but now they are gone. Yay!

Now I just have to figure out what I can put in that spot.

Wow, look at those beasts! Definitely the right thing. Whatever you do, don't plant something there that's going to get big and block all the sunlight.
